Giving You A Voice

Consultation is an essential part of the organisations activities.

This is with:

  • Parents, Carers
  • Children/Young people with and without SEN/Disablities
  • Front-line professionals, teachers, health visitors, social workers etc

We have already been commissioned locally and nationally to carry out consultation on the level and quality of local of local children & family services, best value reviews, DfES SEN education policy etc.

We want to hear, what works well, where are the gap, where are excellence of service etc. This is the only way things will truly improve at ground level for all children and young people with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities.

Clearly Speaking believe that;

When you drop a pebble into a pond, it makes tiny ripples. These are easy to overlook.

When you drop a dirty great boulder into the same pond, a huge wave is produced. This cannot be ignored as it washes over all those who sit within the pond, and those on the edge.

This is the same for all parents, over 400 in all.

One parent jumping up and down can still be ignored or called away.

When Clearly Speaking gather together 50 - 200 parents and record their views, then formulate a response to any issues, we then take it to the commissioners of services, those who can make changes. We then share their views and opinions and ensure that the real point or issue is highlighted, discussed and a plan formulated to make changes.

We do this well, but need your views & opinions.
