In order to develop the support and services that Clearly Speaking offers to families and individuals we would like to encourage more volunteers and session leaders to join us.
As you would expect, in the best interest of everyone visiting and being involved with Clearly Speaking, there are certain formalities that need to be followed before becoming involved with Clearly Speaking’s activities.
All session leaders and volunteers will need to have a CRB check (which Clearly Speaking can arrange with you). Additionally, we require everyone to be trained in first aid and, again, this is something that Clearly Speaking can arrange.
It is essential that all session leaders and volunteers have experience in working with young people and have the commitment to ensure that clubs, sessions and events are able to run as scheduled for the benefit of the young people and families attending Clearly Speaking.
While many of the session leader and volunteer positions do not require formal qualifications, training will be provided where necessary to ensure that leaders and volunteers are supported and assisted to provide the best quality service to everyone coming to Clearly Speaking.
Please visit our Events Page for examples of the activities where we would like your involvement. As you will see, we have a very busy schedule and you help will be appreciated.
While we must maintain the consistency of all scheduled events it would be good to have sufficient numbers of volunteers and leaders to be able to allow flexibility in staffing events to allow for holidays etc.
